MEDICAL CONCERNS- JAMAICA -QUESTIONS:-WITHOUT PREJUDICE- WHAT, IF ANYTHING IS BEING DONE TO DIAGNOSE AND TREAT EXPEDITIOUSLY- CANCERS AND OTHER RAPIDLY DISSEMINATING DISEASES, AND THOSE WHICH CAN BE PREVENTABLE SCREENED? BREAST CANCERS IN WOMEN, AND SOME EXTENT IN MEN. PROSTATE CANCERS IN MEN, OFTEN GO UNDETECTED UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND HAS BEEN MALIGNANT FOR TOO LONG. WHY ARE THE DOCTORS WHO TREAT THE POOR, OFTEN HAVE TO SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF A SYSTEM NOT HAVING THE RESOURCES TO HELP THE PEOPLE? MY INDEPENDENT RESEARCH ALONE SHOWS GRAVE CAUSE FOR CONCERN ABOUT MANY PREVENTABLE DISEASES. HOW MUCH LONGER WILL THE PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT? WHAT IS YOUR AVERAGE TURN AROUND TIME FROM- DIAGNOSIS TO TREATMENT? MY MESSAGE IS- ALL LIVES MATTER., RICH AND POOR! MOST POOR JAMAICANS WOULD BE SILENT AND LEAVE EVERYTHING UP TO THE WILL OF GOD, BUT IN AMERICAN SOCIETY THESE ISSUES OF NEGLECT AND FAILURE TO DIAGNOSE AND TREAT WOULD NOT ESCAPE SCRUTINY AND LITIGATION.I AM RAS CARDO. I SPEAK AS AN ADVOCATE FOR THE PEOPLE.
